Peter Kaye founded PK Growth Partners to address the need, typical among emerging brands and businesses, for experienced leadership though yet they may not be ready for a full-time hire — in other words an interim or fractional leadership solution.
Tackle New Challenges. Peter enjoys working with client partners that are facing new challenges and need help doing things they have never done before, enabling them to getting more done, more successfully.
Mission-Driven. He is passionate about building mission-driven businesses, such as better-for-you food and beverage, health and wellness, sustainability, and those with real social impact.
Track Record of Significant Growth. He has a track record of delivering strong double-digit growth in revenue, profit and brand. This spans full-time and interim roles such as Chief Growth, Revenue, Marketing, or Transformation Officer, across multiple industries and with a depth in CPG Food & Beverage. Highlights include: Honest Tea, where Peter led revenue growth from $71M to $112M (+58%); and Share Our Strength, the non-profit that runs the No Kid Hungry campaign, where he led revenue growth from $53M to $84M (+57%).
Best Practices. Peter learned best practices in building brands and businesses in operating roles at large global enterprises such as Coca-Cola, Diageo, and Nestle; and has been working mostly with entrepreneurial, mission-driven businesses for many years, including through to successful exit (by acquisition).
Competitive Differentiation. He has a strategic general management mindset, combined with deep brand marketing execution expertise to create differentiation in highly competitive categories, and team leadership skills to identify and elevate breakthrough ideas.
Creative Brand-Builder. Peter is known for leading internal and external teams to build and execute breakthrough brand-building campaigns, such as Honest Tea’s “National Honesty Index”, Share Our Strength’s “No Kid Hungry”, NuTek Natural Ingredient’s “Practice Safe Salt”, and Butterfinger’s “Nobody Better Lay a Finger on my Butterfinger” with The Simpsons.
Personal. Peter grew up in New England and lived for many years in Manhattan and Brooklyn, as well as Atlanta and Los Angeles. He now lives in Maryland just outside of Washington, DC with his wife, two teenage daughters, and mini-goldendoodle.
